In November 1981, Ron Berg founded The Berg Legal Clinic in Norfolk, Virginia with a single goal in mind: to provide excellent legal services to the people of Hampton Roads for a reasonable fee. Since its founding in 1981, the firm has successfully represented over 135,000 clients in bankruptcy law, family law and estate planning and it has become a trusted member of the Hampton Roads community.
In January 2016, Casey Chmielewski joined the firm after retiring from the Coast Guard with 24 years of service to our country. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Berg invited Mr. Chmielewski to join him as a partner and the firm changed its name to Berg & Chmielewski, PC. Although the name of the firm has changed, the commitment to delivering exceptional legal service at an affordable price remains the same.
